iDOL 46 ATEX Capacitive Relay Sensor

The iDOL 46 Capacitive Relay Sensor is a 30 mm ATEX-approved sensor designed for general detection of feed, grain and solids. capacitive relay sensor is typically used as an empty, full and level indicator in tanks, silos and containers. Its powerful built-in relay can directly control many functions.

For potentially explosive dust atmospheres

The iDOL 46 sensor is approved under ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and IECEx for operation in potentially explosive dust atmospheres. It is classified in explosion group II, covering all hazardous areas except mines. The capacitive sensor is classified as equipment for atmospheres where explosive dust is continuously present, with an ignition temperature above 85 ^oC. ATEX approval makes the sensor suitable for installations where dust creates an unavoidable explosion risk, classified as zones 20 and 21. The iDOL 46 sensor has a robust design with a plastic housing that withstands a 7-joule impact.

A flexible sensor with easy configuration

Using the user-friendly SmartAdjust app on your smartphone makes it easy to adjust sensing distance, on-delay and/or off-delay and MaxRunTimer. The SmartAdjust app provides more settings than a traditional capacitive sensor. The result is a more flexible sensor that can be adapted to individual needs. Configurations can be saved in the app and used to set up new sensors. They can even be sent worldwide to help customers or technicians configure sensors.

LED indicators

iDOL 46 ATEX has a red LED indicating sensor status and a green LED indicating power. The LEDs can be disabled using the SmartAdjust app.

Installation

The iDOL 46 ATEX Capacitive Relay Sensor is easily mounted in a plastic gland, also available as a flanged solution for easy external installation, providing several mounting options. iDOL 46 ATEX can also be installed on a 40-60 mm conveying-system pipe using our specially designed T-piece.View all dol-sensors capacitive proximity sensors here
